In accordance with acting legislation of Ukraine loans and credits in foreign currency from non-residents can be obtained by the resident enterprises of Ukraine for purposeful use defined by the contract.

Such credits can be obtained only in cashless form.

Debtors obtain credits from non-residents of Ukraine through authorized banks of Ukraine (or their subsidiaries) which have issued an agreement to process the operations specified in the contract.

Contracts anticipating that debtors undertake obligations in foreign currency before non-residents related to credits or loans (with interest rates or without them), including return financial aid, are subject to mandatory registration with the National Bank of Ukraine.
